Fully Reversible

Our YGS Fully Reversible Windows offer a low maintenance, heavy duty window solution.

Often referred to as Canopy, H-Type or Top Swing, these windows have been the Scandinavian window of choice for decades now thanks to their outstanding weather performance credentials.

Combining a perfectly balanced outward opening window with market leading hardware, the YGS Fully Reversible Window has integral restrictors which provide both child safety and safe cleaning and maintenance from within the building.

The handles on these windows are positioned at the bottom to support easy access and operation. The “night-vent” position allows for increased ventilation while the window remains locked and secure.

Tilt & Turn

A clear favourite in the collection thanks to its robust and low maintenance credentials, our inward opening window can be used in both a tilt and turn position.  

A favoured solution widely used across Europe, the construction of this window enables increased thermal and acoustic performance.

Using our YGS multifunction single handle system, the specialist hardware allows the window to be limited to the tilt position for child safety or can be deadlocked in the closed position for maximum security.

Handles can also be in a lowered position to provide ease of access and operation.

Casement

Casement, Timber and Aluclad

GS can offer a range of outward opening casement style window solutions. 

With a variety of hinge systems on offer including side swing and side slide friction hinges or traditional butt hinges, these windows offer the benefits of easy cleaning and emergency escape variations. 

Casement windows can be timber or aluminium clad timber and like our other YGS window systems, come with a range of glazing and colour options to suit every project requirement. 

Acoustic

YGS composite glazing offers impressive acoustic control, up to Rw45, without compromising the distinctive, slim frame design or uniform sightlines.

YGS units are third party tested to ensure accurate acoustic performance data across the unit, not just the glass. This means specific levels of acoustic control, precisely tailored to meet project needs and location – whether near transport routes, on inner-city sites, or to meet high-density specifications for both residential and commercial projects.

Our extensive portfolio enables us to select the best frame and glazing solution to satisfy even the most demanding specification and budget.

Our inward opening windows can achieve up to 45dB Rw and our outward opening windows can achieve up to 45dB Rw.

Sash & Case

YGS can offer a range of Sliding opening Sash and case window solutions. 

Sash and case can be manufactured to customised design to suite historical planning requirements.

These can be offered using traditional sash and case weights or spiral balances.

Sash and Case windows can only be supplied as timber but like our other YGS window systems, come with a range of glazing and colour options to suit every project requirement.
